BSI Prepares 604 Branches To Serve Eid Holidays

JAKARTA - PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) has prepared 604 branches to serve weekend banking which is open every weekend during June 2024. This is in order to optimize services ahead of Eid al-Adha 1445 Hijriah.

"Towards Eid al-Adha and the month of Hajj, of course many customers need transactions to sacrifice, especially in June many parents want to register their children with schools," said BSI Corporate Secretary Wisnu Sunandar quoting Antara.

Therefore, added Wisnu, BSI prepares facilities for customers who need visits to branches related to services at customer service and other limited services, especially in strategic locations.

Wisnu said weekend banking was presented to make it easier for customers to make financial transactions. The designated BSI branch office will operate with limited service hours, starting at 08.00 to 14.00 local time. The public can access information on the location of the BSI branch office on the website www.bankbsi.co.id.

To reach an area far from ATMs and branch offices, BSI has prepared 97,326 BSI Agents that can serve deposits and cash withdrawals, electricity, water payments, credit purchases, and so on.

Banking services are also more easily accessible to customers through BSI Mobile. Through mobile banking, customers can make cash withdrawals without a card, monthly payment such as (PDAM, PLN, internet, schools, data credit/packets, ziswaf, interbank transfer via BI Fast), financing to account opening.

BSI noted that BSI Mobile digital services experienced positive growth. Until April 2024, the number of BSI Mobile users reached 6.8 million people with a transaction volume of IDR 278 trillion.

Ahead of Eid al-Adha, BSI has also appealed to customers to be able to be careful of online fraud and crime. BSI customers are asked to be aware of the mode of crime under the guise of information about changes in inter-bank rates informed via private WhatsApp messages.

To prevent this, customers need to check account balances at BSI Mobile or print bank statements regularly and change debit card passwords or BSI Hasanah Card and BSI Mobile cards.
