Ketum Gapensi Andi Rukman Nurdin Wants To Strengthen Relations With The Government

JAKARTA - The new General Chairperson (Ketum) of the Indonesian National Construction Implementing Center Management Agency (BPP Gapensi) for the period 2024-2029 Andi Rukman Nurdin wants to strengthen relations with the government.

Andi conveyed his commitment to strengthening relations between Gapensi and the government as well as various other stakeholders. For this reason, a conducive and sustainable business climate needs to be created for the construction industry players.

"Synergy between all of us is the key to answering the increasingly complex challenges of the construction industry," said Andi Rukman Nurdin, in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Friday, June 7.

Andi Rukman Nurdin (ARN) was officially elected as the General Chair of the BPP Gapensi for the 2024-2029 period. At the national deliberation (Munas) held in Jakarta this Friday, Andi defeated his competitor Agus Gendroyono (AG) by only three votes from 175 valid votes.

When giving a speech closing the National Conference in front of 35 Regional Management Agencys (BPD) Gapensi, Andi said that this position is a big responsibility that must be carried out together.

"I realize that this role is full of challenges, but with hard work and effort togetherness, I believe we can realize the big vision and mission to bring Gapensi and the Indonesian construction industry to a better direction," he also said.

Andi also conveyed the importance of sustainable education and training as the main focus for the management of Gapensi for the next five years. Here it must be ensured, he said, that our workers have the competence and skills needed to deal with the dynamics of the industry that continues to grow.

"By improving the quality of human resources, we will be able to compete at the national and international levels," he said again.

Andi further be optimistic that innovation and collaboration need to be built for the future progress of Gapensi. This is important to do, he said, to encourage significant progress in the construction sector.

"Gappensi must be the main driving force in creating the quality and competitiveness of national construction. With hard work and synergy, we can bring the Indonesian construction industry to a higher level," he said.

During the speech, Andi specifically thanked Agus Gendroyono. According to him, healthy and constructive competition has shown a shared commitment to bring Gapensi's progress forward.

I appreciate the dedication, ideas, and enthusiasm that Agus Gendroyono has shown. I hope we can continue to work together and support each other for the advancement of the Indonesian construction industry," he also said.
