JAKARTA - PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) distributed cash dividends from the 2023 financial year with a total value of IDR 4.58 trillion or IDR 397.712 per share today, Friday 7 June 2024.
"According to the decision of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for the 2023 Fiscal Year which will be held on May 8, 2024, PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) will distribute 75 percent of the profit for the year which can be distributed to owners of the parent entity for the 2023 financial year as dividends," said Corporate Secretary of PT Bukit Asam Tbk Niko Chandra, Friday, June 7.
Cash dividends were distributed to shareholders whose names were recorded in the Company's shareholder register on May 22, 2024 or recording date.
Throughout 2023, PTBA recorded revenue of IDR 38.49 trillion, so that it was able to print a net profit of IDR 6.11 trillion.
"This positive achievement is the result of the company's efforts to improve operational performance throughout 2023," said Niko.
PTBA's total coal production and purchase in January-December 2023 reached 41.94 million tons, growing 13 percent compared to 2022 which amounted to 37.14 million tons.
The production achievement managed to exceed the target of 41.04 million tons set in early 2023.
The increase in production was also followed by an increase in coal sales volume to 36.97 million tons, an increase of 17 percent compared to the previous year.
