Minister Of Transportation Inaugurates Risyapudin Nursin As Director General Of Land Transportation

JAKARTA - Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi officially inaugurated Inspector General. Pol. Risyapudin Nursin as Director General (Dirjen) of Land Transportation.

Risyapudin was appointed to replace Hendro Sugiatno.

The inauguration was held today, Thursday, June 6. Risyapudin's inauguration was carried out in conjunction with a number of other officials such as Administrator Officials, Supervisory Officers, and Functional Officials, within the Ministry of Transportation.

"Congratulations to Mr. Risyapudin Nursin who has been trusted to be the Director General of Land Transportation," Budi said in an official statement, Thursday, June 6.

"Hopefully it can adjust, and can immediately communicate and coordinate with various parties, both internally from the Ministry of Transportation and with other ministries and institutions," continued Budi.

Budi also explained that the Ministry of Transportation's work units were scattered in various regions, from Sabang to Merauke. Because of that, he said it was not surprising that transportation personnel also came from various different backgrounds, so it is hoped that they could bring a unique perspective and create new ideas in the organization.

"I hope this background difference becomes an advantage that can encourage equal opportunities for all people of transportation. Hopefully, this can create an inclusive, fair and harmonious work environment," he said.

Budi also thanked Hendro Sugiatno for his contribution while being part of the Ministry of Transportation.

"Thank you, Mr. Hendro, who has worked hard while carrying out his duties as Director General of Land Transportation. Hopefully he will always be healthy and can continue to contribute to the progress of the nation," he explained.
