JAKARTA - The Indonesian Export Financing Agency (LPEI) or Indonesia Eximbank continues to encourage national exports by continuing to transform to find solutions for export-oriented business actors.

LPEI's Business Development Managing Director, Maqin U. Norhadi said to answer various challenges of business actors as well as to equalize opportunities for exporters throughout Indonesia. Currently, LPEI is preparing a marketplace specifically designed as a means of export education, information services, incubation, capacity building, and a place for meeting sellers and buyers (business matching).

"The complete ease and availability of services in the marketplace is expected to encourage export-oriented business actors to dare to go global," he explained in his statement, Thursday, June 6.

Maqin explained that the marketplace, named Komodoin, began to be introduced to the Indonesian export ecosystem at the World Dare Forum on June 1, 2024, in Sarinah, Jakarta, in line with the spirit of Pancasila's Birth Day.

According to Maqin, Komodoin is here to unite the nation's children in increasing the ability of export-oriented business actors.

In addition, Maqin conveyed that Komodoin is targeted to be accessible to the public in August 2024 with four services, namely education, curation, incubation, and transactions for export.

Maqin said that the Komodoin marketplace is expected to help exporters to be faster and more accurate in accessing the world market without borders.

In addition, Maqin said Komodoin would collaborate with various partners from the relevant Ministries, banks, the export SME community, aggregator buyers abroad, Diaspora, the Indonesian Embassy abroad, the Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC), and the Trade Attache.

Meanwhile, Komodoin will be the provider of end-to-end services belonging to the Government Institution - LPEI which is currently prioritized to increase the volume of transactions and the number of export-oriented Indonesian SMEs.
