JAKARTA - A logistics service company member of the Garuda Indonesia Group, PT Aerojasa Cargo or SendAja signed a memorandum of understanding with the Indonesian Retail Entrepreneurs Association (Aprindo) to improve integrated logistics services for members of associations, both for internal and export delivery.

Director of SendAja Hari Agung Saputra explained that this collaboration was initiated since the company's participation in the China Homelife Indonesia Expo 2024 event some time ago.

He said, with the background of air cargo experience and as part of the Garuda Indonesia Group, SendAja is committed to providing comprehensive and efficient logistics solutions for Aprindo members to support joint business development, especially for the needs of shipping and distribution of goods.

Hari said, through integrated logistics services, SendAja is ready to become a trusted logistics partner for export and import activities for the Indonesian and foreign markets as Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOC) with full support from Garuda Indonesia.

"This collaboration is a strategic step for SendAja to support the expansion of the Indonesian MSME business to the Chinese market. We are sure, with Aprindo's experience and network with SendAja, Indonesian MSMEs will find it easier to reach the global market," he said at the signing of a memorandum of understanding. Meanwhile, General Chairperson of Aprindo Roy Nicholas Mandey said that this collaboration was carried out in line with Aprindo's expansion, which had the opportunity to carry out a series of export activities for private label products and retailer MSMEs.

He said his party had partnered with the Busan Indonesia Center (BIC) in Busan, South Korea, and several aggregators in Shanghai and Fuzhou Fujian, China.

Roy added that currently Aprindo has 600 members of local retail entrepreneurs and national networks with more than 48,000 outlets in Indonesia.

With this collaboration, Aprindo members will be easier and faster in carrying out export and import activities.

"So, it can increase the competitiveness of Indonesian MSME products in the global market to 'upgrade' from the domestic/local market to the market globally," he said.
