PGEO Reshuffles Company Management. Here's The List!

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) Announces New Company Management at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for Fiscal Year 2023

The AGMS held at Grha Pertamina officially appointed Edwil Suzandi as Director of Exploration and Development. The AGMS also appointed two new members of the PGE Board of Commissioners, namely Abdulla Zayed as Independent Commissioner and John Eusebius Iwan Anis as Commissioner.

PGE President Director, Julfi Hadi stated that changing the ranks of the Company's management was a strategic step to strengthen PGE's position as a world-class green energy company.

"The presence of the new management of the Company is expected to provide new energy to realize the Company's vision as a 1 GW company in the next two years with various business exploration and development activities," said Julfi Hadi, quoted Wednesday, May 29.

Edwil Suzandi replaces Rachmat Hidajat as Director of Exploration and Development. Previously, Edwil served as Executive Vice President of Upstream Business at PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan.

With dedication to boost national energy independence, Edwil has contributed to various achievements while working in the Rokan Working Area (WK), one of the largest oil and gas (oil and gas) blocks in Indonesia. One of them is recording oil and gas lifting of up to 59 million barrels in 2023 in the block, making WK Rokan the largest oil producer in Indonesia.

Taking part in PT Pertamina since 2010, Edwil has held various strategic positions in the upstream oil and gas development project. He has served as Vice President of Production & Project of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi, Director of Operations and Country Manager of Pertamina Algeria EP, and Vice President Country Operation Pertamina Internasional EP Iraq. With long experience in the field of oil and gas exploration, the presence of Edwil Suzandi is expected to be able to strengthen PGE's business development activities in the future.

In addition to announcing the change of Board of Directors, the Company also conveyed the replacement of two members of the Board of Commissioners.

Abdulla Zayed, replacing Sujit S. Parhar, Abdulla is the Director of Development and Investment of the Asian and African Regions in Masdar, the renewable energy developer for Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Taking part in the energy sector for almost 15 years, he has served in various strategic positions, one of which is as a Renewable Energy Financial and Commercial Analyst in Masdar. Currently, Abdulla Zayed also serves as the President Director of MW Energy, a joint venture between Masdar and W Solar Investment, a subsidiary of investment company Alpha Dhabi.

The presence of Abdulla Zayed is the Company's initiative to adopt a global perspective and take advantage of international expertise in supporting the Company's growth and business development.

John Eusebius Iwan Anis, replacing Dannif Danusaputro, serves as President Director of PT Pertamina Power Indonesia. He once held various strategic positions at PT Pertamina, namely as President Director of PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia and President Director of PT Pertamina Internasional EP.

In his work at PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia, John Eusebius Iwan Anis contributes to encouraging innovation so as to exceed the oil and gas production target. The presence of John Anis, with his experience for almost 30 years in the energy sector, will help the Company to continue to encourage optimization of production and operation performance.
