The program is offered to members in the United Nations Global Compact (UN) network. Activities focus on developing and implementing solutions through the latest technology, initiatives, and business models that contribute to the company's sustainability goals.

This year is the second time the SDGI Accelerator has been held. There are 16 teams from 15 Indonesian companies participating in this activity, including PT Bank Jago Tbk, PT Domas Agrointi Prima, Dynapark Asia, HHP Law Firm, PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk, PT MMS Group Indonesia, PT Mowinex Indonesia, PT Paragon Technology and Innovation, PT Pertamina Hulu Energy, PT Pertamina International Shipping, PT Prasadah Pamunah Limbah Industri, PT Samudra Indonesia Tbk, T Singaland Astama (SGA), and PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk.

The SDGI Accelerator program was held intensively for six months with various activities, such as international webinars, local training workshops, mentoring, direct case studies, interactive sessions with co-workers and experts, as well as research activities.

These activities are centered on the 'learning and practice' approach at the same time which emphasizes practical and problem-solving experiences and is oriented towards solving problems and taking advantage of existing opportunities.

Participants are guided and monitored by experts to provide guidance and support during the process.

The activity received support from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). Head of BRIN Laksana Tri Handoko said the SDGI Accelerator activity reflected one of the main elements to achieve the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045, namely increasing the capacity of research and innovation to achieve Indonesia's competitiveness at the global level.

"We believe this will activate young business professionals to rethink traditional business models and open up new business opportunities," he said.
