Pertamina Guarantees Security For Energy Supply Ahead Of The World Water Forum In Bali

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) guarantees the security of energy supply in Bali ahead of the 10th World Water Forum event on 18 25 May 2024.

"Through the Jatimbalinus region, Pertamina guarantees the supply of avtur, fuel, and LPG at the 2024 World Water Forum," said Pertamina's Vice President Corporate Communication Fadjar Djoko Santoso in his statement, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, May 15.

On the other hand, Area Manager Comm, Rel & CSR Jatimbalinus Sunday Rahedi ensured that all Pertamina Patra Niaga facilities were in optimal condition.

Pertamina's all energy supply point facilities, said Sunday, especially fuel and LPG, are confirmed to be in optimal condition.

"We are ready to support the event. The most crucial thing is Avtur, it is estimated that there is an increase in consumption at Bali's Ngurah Rai Airport by around 21 percent or 400 kiloliters (kl) per day compared to daily normal consumption of 2,050 kl/day," said Sunday.

Pertamina predicts that the peak consumption of Avtur is expected to occur on May 17-19, 2024.

DPPU Ngurah Rai as an avtur provider in Bali has a total storage tank capacity of 24,300 KL, supported by 7 refueller tankers with a capacity of 40 KL, and 2 refueller cars with a capacity of 25 KL, and there are 14 units of hydrant dispensers.

To support this activity, said Sunday, all facilities and facilities from AFT Ngurah Rai will be operated 24 hours during the World Water Forum.

"Pertamina guarantees the quality of fuel used by the presidential plane of the World Water Forum delegation and other commercial aircraft," said Sunday.

Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Irto Ginting said it was an honor for Indonesia to host the 10th World Water Forum. Pertamina Patra Niaga ensures that fuel needs in the aviation and land transportation sectors will be fulfilled properly as long as the forum takes place.

"Pertamina Patra Niaga will provide maximum support in this event and will coordinate intensively with airlines, Angkasa Pura, TNI, POLRI, and Airnav in ensuring the energy supply service process runs smoothly," said Irto.
