JCI Opened To Strengthen To 7,122, There Are 206 Greening Stocks

JAKARTA - The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Composite Stock Price Index (IDX) at the opening of trading on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 rose 38.60 points or 0.54 percent to 7,122.367 at 09.14 WIB this morning.

Meanwhile, the JCI was opened at the level of 7,083.76 while the highest level of the JCI today was at the level of 7,132.50 and the lowest was at 7,082.11. The total volume of stock trading on the IDX reached 2.22 billion, with a transaction value of Rp1.56 trillion. There are 206 stocks up, 156 stocks down, and 190 flat.

LQ45 Index rose 0.02 percent, Japan's Nikkei 225 Index rose 0.36 percent, Hang Seng Index low, China's Shanghai Composite fell 0.35 percent, and Singapore's Straits Times weakened 0.47 percent.

As for those who entered the Top Gainers ranks, namely PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA) rose 675 or 8.01 percent to Rp9,100, PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO) rose 350 or 4.93 percent to Rp7,450, PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) rose 225 or 2.43 percent to Rp9,500.

Meanwhile, those who entered the top loss ranks were shares of PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) down 40 or 1.54 percent to Rp2,560, shares of PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi Tbk (CUAN) down 125 or 1.70 percent to Rp7,225, and shares of PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) down 100 or 2.37 percent to Rp4,120.
