This project is TRIPATRA's commitment to support Pupuk Kaltim to update the oldest factory which will be more efficient so that it can suppress carbon emissions and implement environmentally friendly technology, in line with the Indonesian government's mandate to achieve net zero emissions in 2060 and create a greener industry.

Later, Factory 2 can also reduce energy consumption by 4 MMBtu/tonne ammonia, thus reducing CO2 emissions equivalent to reducing emissions by 110,000 tonnes of CO2 per year.
