JAKARTA - The Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas) revealed that PT PGN will receive a supply of two cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG).
Head of the SKK Migas Program and Communication Division, Hudi Suryodipuro, said that currently there was an agreement regarding the plan to add the two cargoes with related parties.
Hudi said the LNG came from Tangguh Train 3.
"So those who have been eaten and there is an agreement for PGN, there are 2 cargoes from Tangguh Train 3 planned," Hudi told the media, Monday, May 6.
However, Hudi emphasized that there would still be a possibility of adding cargo because it was still dependent on PGN's needs. For this reason, he ensures that currently his party continues to have intensive discussions with PGN regarding LNG needs.
"This will of course depend on what PGN needs in the future," added Hudi.
He also explained that his party was still communicating with PGN and LNG providers regarding PGN's future needs.
"Can the number increase? We'll see later, depending on what PGN's request will be," added Hudi.

At this time, PGN is also trying to meet the natural gas needs of all customer segments by providing Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) solutions. The efforts made include utilizing the LNG supply allocation launched by SKK Migas and will launch a number of LNG cargoes in May 2024 which PGN brought in to maintain the need for industrial gas supply in the midst of the current national natural gas production situation and industrial needs that must always be met.
