JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir bluntly admitted that there is one BUMN strategic project from 88 projects that may not be completed at the end of his term of office in October 2024.

But unfortunately, Erick did not explain more in what problems had occurred so that one project could potentially not be completed. He only stated that there were dynamics that occurred.

"Alhamdulillah, from the target of 88 projects, God willing, 87 will be done. Maybe one missed, because of the situation that occurred in the dynamics, but later I will report it maybe at the end of October alone," he said when met at TMII, East Jakarta, Sunday, May 5.

Erick also detailed that the total projects that have been completed and inaugurated to date are 82 projects. That way, there are still six projects left in the completion process. However, one project cannot be completed in October 2024.

"So from 88 (BUMN strategic projects) it has been 82 (completed). There are still 6 (unfinished). However, there is one that is quite difficult to complete," he said.

According to Erick, it is natural that he cannot 100 percent complete the entire project. He also joked that perfection only belongs to God Almighty. "But yes, it's impossible for us to complete a 100 percent job, perfect belongs to Allah," he explained.
