JAKARTA - The 2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) approved the distribution of total cash dividends worth IDR 21.01 trillion. This amount is equivalent to IDR 519 per share for the 2023 financial year.

The cash dividend includes interim dividends worth IDR 3.96 trillion or equivalent to IDR 98 per share that the company paid on October 31, 2023.

"So, the remaining Rp17.04 trillion or equivalent to Rp421 per share will be paid on May 30, 2024, to the company's shareholders whose names are recorded in the Register of Shareholders on May 15, 2024 at 16.00 WIB," said Chief of Corporate Affairs Riza Deliansyah quoting Antara.

Meanwhile, the company's total cash dividend is equivalent to 62.12 percent of the company's net profit for the 2023 financial year which is valued at IDR 33.83 trillion.

"The remaining (clean spider) of Rp. 12.82 trillion was recorded as the company's retained profit," said Riza.

Riza explained that the AGMS authorized the Company's Board of Directors to carry out the dividend distribution and to take all necessary actions.

"Dividend payments will be made by taking into account tax provisions, the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and other applicable capital market provisions", said Riza.

In the AGMS, ASII also approved and received the Annual Report for the 2023 financial year, including ratifying the Supervision Task Report of the Company's Board of Commissioners.

In addition, ratifying the Company's Consolidation Financial Statements and Child Entities for the 2023 financial year which has been audited by the Tanudiredja Public Accounting Office, Wibisana, Rintis & Partners as published in their report on February 27, 2024.

In the AGMS, the company approved the appointment of Bambang Permadi Soemantri Brodjonegoro as the Independent Commissioner of the Company, Hsu Hai Yeh as Commissioner of the Company, Rudy as Director of the Company, and Thomas Junaidi Alim W as Director of the Company.
