Pelita Air Officially Opens Kendari-Soekarno Hatta Flight Route

JAKARTA - Pelita Air has officially opened a new flight route for Haluoleo Kendari Airport- Soekarno-Hatta Cengkareng Airport, Banten.

Public Relations of Haluoleo Kendari Airport, Nurlansyah, when contacted in Kendari, Thursday, April 25, said that the new Pelita Air route serves passengers on direct flights from Kendari to Jakarta.

"Yes, the ceremony started yesterday and the first flight also started on April 24, 2024 yesterday," said Nurlansyah, as reported by Antara.

He mentioned that the flight was opened to serve the community with one flight a day.

"The flight is opened from Jakarta Kendari and Kendari Jakarta every day, every day the flight," he said.

For the time of the flight, Nurlansyah revealed that the first flight from Jakarta started at 06.15 WIB arriving in Kendari at 10.10 WITA.

"Meanwhile, from Kendari at 11.15 WITA to Jakarta at 13.10 WIB," he explained.

Nurlansyah also said that the Kendari-Jakarta direct flight using Pelita Air is in demand by many passengers, in addition to saving time, passengers can also go directly to Jakarta without stopping or transiting to other airports.

"Alhamdulillah, the flight was full yesterday, and today it is also full," he said.

Meanwhile, the Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) provincial Tourism Office encourages Pelita Air to open flight routes not only Jakarta-Kendari but also to open flight routes from big cities to Kendari.

"The district government really hopes that there will be airlines that open flights from Denpasar to Kendari, and other cities because they see our tourism potential, it is one of the best in Indonesia and even Wakatobi has been designated as the 10th or 10th national tourism strategy area of the new Bali tourist destination," said Head of the Southeast Sulawesi Tourism Office, Belli Harli Tombili in Kendari, Thursday.

According to Belli, the re-operation of Pelita Air can open flight routes not only Jakarta-Kendari but also open flight routes from other big cities to Kendari.
