Issuers Owned By Conglomerate TP Rachmat, Dharma Polimetal Will Distribute Dividends Of IDR 171.29 Billion

JAKARTA - Issuers from the Triputra Group owned by conglomerate TP Rachmat, PT Dharma Polimetal Tbk (DRMA) will distribute dividends to their shareholders. This automotive component company will pay dividends of IDR 171.29 billion from net profit for the 2023 financial year.

This means that DRMA shareholders will get dividends of IDR 36.4 per share. The amount of the dividend is one of the results of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) which was held today, Thursday, April 25.

"Earlier it was decided at the GMS that this year we distributed dividends of IDR 171 billion. So IDR 36.4 per share. Compared to last year's IDR 20 per share, there was an increase of around IDR 16 per share," explained Irianto in a virtual press conference.

The amount of DRMA dividend of IDR 171.29 billion is equivalent to 28 percent of the net profit achieved in 2023 of IDR 611.75 billion. DRMA's net profit achievement last year increased 55.20 percent compared to 2022 profits.

In the top line, last year DRMA pocketed net sales of IDR 5.54 trillion, growing 42 percent compared to sales in 2022. Irianto is also optimistic that DRMA will again score an increase in performance in 2024, at least reaching a 10 percent growth level.

DRMA chose a target that is classified as conservative as a form of caution, especially taking into account the current condition of the automotive industry.

"According to our calculations, the Company's revenue growth will be driven by our competence in obtaining new models and new market share, as well as optimizing the quality cost delivery," explained Irianto.

In order to work on long-term growth in the electric vehicle industry, the Dharma Group has prepared battery pack products and the BLDC (Brushless Direct Current) Motor.

In the future, these products will be supplied to one of the motorcycle brands in Indonesia, as well as used for conversion motorcycles produced by the Dharma Group.
