City Government Invites Multinational Investment Companies In Tangerang

JAKARTA - The Tangerang City Government, Banten invites multinational companies to invest their business because Tangerang City has a positive trend in investment development.

Tangerang City Assistant for Economics and Development, Yeti Rohaeti, in Tangerang, Wednesday, April 24, said that investment achievements in Tangerang City increase every year.

The Tangerang City Government has succeeded in exceeding the Tangerang City Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) target in 2023 with an investment achievement of IDR 14.99 trillion.

Not only that, Tangerang City has also been considered successful in managing extraordinary investment achievements. In fact, the Tangerang City Government last year managed to get proud awards at the Banten Business Forum and Investment Awards.

"The Tangerang City Government hopes that the positive trend of developing investment nationally can be a momentum to increase investment achievements in Tangerang City," he said, quoted from Antara.

Yeti said that many multinational companies have invested their foreign assets in Tangerang City, such as well-known technology companies OPPO which recently built factories.

"The city of Tangerang has a very strategic location through the existence of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. This is an attraction for investors to develop their business in Tangerang City," he said.

Previously, Acting Mayor of Tangerang Nurdin said the realization of PMA and PMDN 2023 with a target of IDR 9.67 trillion was realized of IDR 14.99 trillion.

Then the increase in the community's economy through achieving the inflation rate based on the BPS figure from the target of 3.5 percent in 2023, exceeding the target of 3.17 percent with a percentage achievement of 109.43 percent.
