Onion Price Soars, Reaches IDR 80,000 Per Kg In West Jakarta

JAKARTA - The prices of several food commodities have been observed to increase, one of which is shallots.

In the market in the DKI Jakarta area, the price of shallots reaches IDR 80,000 per kilogram (kg).

Based on data from the National Food Agency price panel, Tuesday, April 23 at 13.00 WIB, the average national price of shallots at the retail trader level reached IDR 52,310 per kg.

Still citing the same source, the average price of shallots in DKI Jakarta Province is IDR 71,910 per kg.

If detailed, the price in East Jakarta is Rp. 80,000 kg; West Jakarta is Rp. 80,000 per kg; North Jakarta is Rp. 80,000 kg; and Thousand Islands Regency is Rp. 75,000 per kg.

Then, the price of shallots in Central Jakarta is IDR 60,000 kg and South Jakarta is also monitored at IDR 60,000 per kg.

Then, the average price of shallots in West Java Province reaches IDR 57,210 per kg. If detailed, the price in Garut Regency rose from 38,000 per kg to IDR 40,000 per kg. Then, Majalengka Regency rose from IDR 35,100 to IDR 36,330 per kg.

Then, the price in Cirebon Regency was observed to increase from Rp. 64,000 per kg to Rp. 65,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price in Kuningan Regency was monitored to be stable at Rp. 60,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, in the province producing shallots, the price was observed to fall. For example, in Brebes Regency the price reached Rp. 35,000 per kg, down from Rp. 40,000 the previous day.

If detailed, the price of onions in Probolinggo City fell from Rp49,750 per kg to Rp48,840 per kg.
