Nuanu, Bali's Visionary Creative Region Opened To The Public In July 2024

JAKARTA - Nuanu is scheduled to officially open in July 2024, a visionary region that offers a transformational experience by combining arts, culture, innovation, and social aspects. With a target of 5 million visitors by 2025 from within and outside the country, Nuanu is expected to be able to become a mandatory destination for those looking for a more meaningful journey in Bali.

Located in the coastal area in Tabanan, Bali, Nuanu is a manifestation of innovation, collaboration, and global change. With an area of 44 hectares, this creative area is a forum for the dynamic community where creators, leaders, and change makers meet and collaborate with each other to encourage positive changes. As an integrated ecosystem, Nuanu presents spaces dedicated to the nature-inspired education, arts & culture, health, experiences, and housing sectors.

Starting July 2024, Nuanu visitors can experience a variety of interesting experiences with a unique combination of creativity, cultural enrichment, and environmental awareness. With the spectacular beach view of Nyinyi Beach, the Luna Beach Club comes as a seaside destination, bringing a new beach club concept that offers an unrivaled experience for relaxing, enjoying culinary and entertainment.

Meanwhile, Good Luck Collective is a forum for artists from various disciplines to experience transformational travel and exploration of creativity depth.▁luar Collective includes creative studios, art galleries, artist retreat centers, and multipurpose space designed for deep visual and sensory experiences. At ProEd Global School, students of all ages can engage in dynamic educational environments focused on holistic development that encourages academic excellence, character formation, and global awareness.

Visitors to Nuanu will also find a series of monumental art installations enriched by projected visual mapping. One of them is the Earth Sentinels monument, an amazing statue by South African artist Daniel totaled, which serves as a reminder of human relations with nature and their purity.

The Bhuma tower, designed by French architect Arthur Mamou-Mani, was inspired by the golden ratio and was built using recycled wood from the old colonial bridge and exterior of the rattan. Bhuma, which means Earth in Sanskrit, serves as a symbol of inspiration and contemplation.

Eco Path, a symbiotic of art and nature that offers a futuristic audiovisual experience located in the heart of Nuanu. Harmony, a social health and fitness complex, is dedicated to health, healing, and transformation. While OSHOM Boutique Hotel and Terra Park provides an opportunity for visitors to experience relaxation and regeneration that is presented with local Balinese wisdom.

To enrich the cultural landscape, Nuanu will host a number of international festivals, such as the Voice Festival, a three-day celebration that combines independent art, music, culture, and health & wellness (wellness) from 26 - 28 July, 2024. CoinFest, the annual Web3 festival will also be held in Nuanu in August 2024. DEEP, a health festival for creative thinkers, visionarys, and artists took place in October 2024. These festivals were held in Nuanu as a celebration of the diversity of music, art, and global technology, in the hope of being able to attract visitors to be present and connected, participate, and be inspired by the communities in Nuanu.

Designed by the famous Indonesian architect, Andra Martin, this museum is a unique forum for art fans. Curated by Kangawa himself, this museum will feature a variety of his collections that reflect its long-term theme on 'Simbiosis' which integrates abundant natural light to create a stunning masterpiece in the landscape and facilities of Nuanu.

Complementary in the Nuanu ecosystem is iFarm, an indoor vertical agricultural system driven by cutting-edge agricultural technology to efficiently grow crops based on multigreen technology. The Head is a spiral-shaped space inspired by the naulus shell, designed as a meeting point between culinary, art, handicraft, and creativity for shaping the leading inclusive experience that is open to all ages.

Nuanu integrated corporate social responsibility activities (CSR) into its business model by allocating certain profits to the Nuanu Social Fund (NSF) to encourage positive social and environmental changes. These funds aim to empower communities and create real social impacts, emphasizing cooperation and collaboration.

Several examples of transformative projects supported by NSF include the establishment of an education center in Beraban Village, Tabanan to empower children with computer skills, as well as preserve Simbang, a 300-year-old Gamelan musical instrument, ensuring that the legacy develops for future generations.
