Ministry Of PUPR: Apartments For ASN At IKN Ready To Live In September 2024

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Implementation Task Force for Infrastructure Development of the Capital Nusantara or IKN stated that ASN residential apartments in IKN can be inhabited by September 2024.

"After the Independence Day ceremony in August, perhaps at the end of August or early September 2024, the apartment can already be inhabited by ASN," said Head of the Task Force (Kasatgas) for IKN Infrastructure Development Danis Sumadilaga in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Thursday, April 18.

Danis said that his relationship was that on August 17, 2024, there would be a ceremony for the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, the ceremony consisted of ceremonial officers and invited guests.

There are many members of the Indonesian Independence Day ceremony at IKN, they must be ready at the ceremony venue so that they have to live and so on. Of course, it is planned that the ASN residential apartments will be temporarily ready, totaling 12 apartment towers.

"This is just a technical problem, so after accommodation for the officers who carry out the RI Anniversary ceremony, the apartment can be used directly by ASN," said Danis.

The Ministry of PUPR) targets the construction of 47 ASN flat towers (Rusun) in IKN Nusantara, East Kalimantan to be completed by the end of 2024. However, the Ministry of PUPR targets around 12 flat towers from 47 towers to be completed in July - August 2024.

The ASN Flats are residential residences for ASN and Security Defense Personnel (Hankam) who work at IKN Nusantara.

Based on attachment to Presidential Regulation No. 63/2022 concerning the Details of the IKN Nusantara Main Plan, the ASN population until 2045 is 100,023 personnel and the Hankam is 103,742 personnel.

Meanwhile, the type of house and area of residential units follow the provisions of Law no. 3/2022 concerning the State Capital. The residential designs of ASN and Hankam Flats are designed with a unit type of 98 m2.

Each ASN flat tower is built as high as 12 floors consisting of two podium floors for social and public facilities, as well as 10 floors for housing. Each tower has 60 units.

A total of 47 ASN-Hankam Flats Towers are located in the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) and IKN sub-regional planning (WP) 1A with a total area of 45.91 hectares.

The Ministry of PUPR built an ASN Flat with a green building design, and of course a comfortable residential unit because it is equipped with furniture in it.

Thus, ASN only need to enter with clothes and equipment as needed.

In the process of building the ASN-Hankam Flats at IKN Nusantara, the Ministry of PUPR applies at least three criteria for implementing development with the principles of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) or Environment, Social, and Governance.
