Pertamina Ensures Sarfas And Operations Are Safe After The Ruangan Eruption

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sulawesi ensures that the facilities and facilities (sarfas) for services to consumers such as Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU) and Land Oil Agents are in a safe condition. Previously, Mount Ruang which is located opposite the island of Tagulandang, Kab. Sitaro Islands, North Sulawesi Province experienced an eruption on Tuesday 16 April.

Area Manager Communication, Relation & CSR Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sulawesi, Fahrougi Andriani Sumampouw said Pertamina continues to monitor the conditions of all operational areas of Pertamina in North Sulawesi, especially in the Sitaro Islands area which is closest to the eruption center.

"Currently there is no direct impact on Distribution Institutions such as gas stations and Land Oil Agents from an operational or security perspective and are still operating normally, but we remain vigilant in the event of ash rain around the location," said Faharugi, quoted Thursday, April 18.

Fahrougi added that his party continues to coordinate with related parties.

"We are intensely coordinating with the local Government to monitor the current situation, so that later we can anticipate disasters if needed in emergency conditions," he concluded.

Pertamina has a distribution agency of 1 gas station and 1 Land Oil Agent on Tagulandang Island which supplies fuel and land oil for the needs of the community on Tagulandang Island, Sitaro Islands Regency.
