BP-AKR Inaugurates 50th Gas Station Operations

PT Aneka PT Aneka Petroindo Raya (BP AKR) officially opened the 50th BP gas station, namely the BP Raffles Hills gas station, which is located in Cimanggis District, Depok City, West Java.

This latest BP gas station is the third BP gas station network opened this year, after previously attending BP Minangkabau gas stations, Setiabudi, South Jakarta, and BP Margonda Raya gas stations, Pondok Cina, Depok City.

Vanda Laura, President Director of BP AKR said that the demand for quality fuel in Indonesia continues to increase.

To meet market needs and as a form of BP AKR's commitment to investing in Indonesia, BP AKR has continued to develop a BP gas station network in Indonesia since 2018.

"Through our business expansion, BP AKR wants to be part of supporting the mobility of the Indonesian people and economic growth in Indonesia," he said in a statement to the media, Wednesday, April 17.

Vanda said, with a total of 50 BP gas stations available in Indonesia, BP AKR has operated 36 BP gas stations in the Jabodetabek area and 14 networks in the East Java region.

In developing a gas station network, BP AKR uses two business schemes, namely Company Owned Company Operated (COCO) and Dealer Owned Dealer Operated (DODO).

BP AKR ensures that the entire BP gas station network, both developed under the COCO and DODO schemes, is built and operated based on the same standards.

Roy Darmawan, Vice President Director of BP AKR explained that the potential for the gas station business in Indonesia is still very large, for this reason BP AKR offers partnerships to the community and local entrepreneurs who are interested in running the BP gas station business.

"The amount of investment in partnering with BP AKR is very flexible, and we also provide various facilities and benefits offered to DODO partners. This is because we want to ensure that partners can develop together with BP AKR in developing the BP gas station business in the country," continued Roy.

Through the concept of consignment, partners will get benefits such as guaranteed fuel supply without capital costs for fuel, not subject to partnership fees and annual allowances, as well as training programs carried out by BP AKR in preparation to run the BP gas station business for potential partners.

Another advantage, BP AKR will provide 1,000 liters of fuel for new partners during 2024 in accordance with applicable terms and conditions," he continued.

Not only providing quality fuel, but the BP gas station network also offers other supporting services and facilities such as comfortable prayer rooms and toilets, water and wind filling places, minimarkets, fast food outlets, and contemporary coffee shops.

The coffee shop owned and managed by BP AKR wildbean cafe will also be present at the BP Margonda Raya gas station, Depok and become the third coffee outlet after previously attending the BP Pangeran Antasari gas station and BP TB Simatupang gas station.
