JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI noted that as many as 255,428 users were registered using the Jabodebek LRT during the Lebaran 2024 long holiday period.
If averaged there are 25,500 users every day who take advantage of this mode of transportation.
The Eid holiday period set by the Jabodebek LRT starts from 6 to 15 April 2024.
Public Relations Manager of RT Jabodebek Mahendro Trang Bawono said the highest number of users occurred on D+3 Lebaran or April 13, of which 36,937 users were served.
"The increase in the number of users after Eid itself reached 73 percent, compared to the period before Eid," he said in an official statement, Wednesday, April 17.
In the period 6 to 10 April, Mahendro said the number of Jabodebek LRT users reached 93,332 users, while in the period 11 to 15 April the number increased significantly until it reached 162,096 users.

During the 10 long holidays, the stations with the highest number of users served were Dukuh Atas station with 114,565 users, followed by Hariamukti Station with 62,189 and West Bekasi Station with 51,283.
"The number of users served at the three stations during the Eid holiday also shows a varying increase of between 15 and 45 percent, when compared to weekends or holidays in March," he said.

The operation of the Jabodebek LRT during Lebaran this year is the first time since it officially started operating on August 28, 2023.
