Pertamina Records Pertamax Maik Consumption 26.3 Percent In Jatimbalinus

DENPASAR - PT Pertamina noted that the first consumption of fuel oil (BBM) has reached 2,854 kiloliters or 26.3 percent of the average normal consumption of 2,260 kiloliters per day during the period of homecoming flow from March 25 to April 11, 2024 in East Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara (Jatimbalinus).

"The highest consumption of BBM Pertamax and dexseries was recorded on Saturday, April 6, which was categorized as the peak of homecoming," said Pertamina Patra Niaga Area Manager Communications, Relations and CSR, Jatimbalinus Sunday Rahedi, Friday, April 12.

In addition to Pertamax, the fuel type index series also consumes 363 kiloliters, an increase of 8.4 percent from normal consumption of 335 kiloliters per day.

According to him, the increase in consumption exceeded the initial prediction of 13.5 percent for pertamax and 5.9 percent for dex consumption.

Although it exceeds expectations, the fuel consumption does not affect the stock because the fuel supply has been thicked up to 30 percent of the daily normal consumption.

In addition, the provision of 15 modular kiosks also helped break the queues, both placed at public refueling stations (SPBU) and in rest areas without gas stations.

His party supervised that during the flow of homecoming, the condition of gas stations in the Jatimbalinus area was relatively quiet, much different from other areas that experienced a spike in homecoming traffic and were even closed.

His party remains prepared to anticipate the need for backflow and several crucial points are of concern based on the results of coordination with the Traffic Directorate of each regional police, with the thickening of fuel and LPG stocks of up to 30 percent.

"Jatimbalinus will be the zero point for travelers, especially from East Java and Bali, who will start their journey to the West," he said.

Pertamina's Corporate Secretary Patra Niaga Irto Ginting said nationally gasoline or gasoline consumption rose 46 percent, for gasoil or diesel it fell 37 percent compared to daily normal consumption due to restrictions on the travel period of general logistics trucks.
