5,878 Vehicles Through The Colomadu-Ngawen Toll Road Functional

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) through its subsidiary PT Jasamarga Jogja Solo (JMJ) noted that 5,878 vehicles passed the functional lane of the Solo-Yogyakarta-YIA Kulonprogo (Jogja-Solo) Toll Road Colomadu-Ngawen (Klaten) on the D-5 Eid Al-Fitr 1445 Hijri or Friday period, April 5, 2024.

"From the traffic data that comes out with functional access, we noted that Exit Ngawen (Klaten) is the favorite exit for road users with the number of vehicles leaving the access reaching 3,135 vehicles with the highest traffic at 16.00-17.00 WIB with 578 vehicles," said JMJ President Director Rudy Hardiansyah in his official statement, Saturday, April 6.

"Meanwhile, for Exit Ceper Karanganom there were 926 vehicles with the highest traffic (traffic) at 16.00-17.00 WIB as many as 142 vehicles," he continued.

Rudy added that his party is optimistic that vehicles passing through the functional route of the Jogja-Solo Toll Road, the Colomadu-Ngawen (Klaten) Section, will continue to increase.

"Those who are allowed to pass through this functional route are specifically Class I Non Bus/small vehicles. The maximum speed for road users passing through this functional route is 40 KM/hour," he said.

The functional toll road is operated during the homecoming period, namely 5-11 April 2024 in one direction from Colomadu to Ngawen (Klaten) at 06.00-17.00 WIB.

This toll road will also support a backflow scheduled for 12-15 April 2024 in one direction from Ngawen to Colomadu at the same time.

"Outside of the predetermined functional path implementation date and time, the flow of traffic to and from GT Colomadu returns to normal using existing access," he said.

It is known, access to the functional route of the Jogja-Solo Toll Road from the National Road can be accessed through the Banyudono GT access and from GT Colomadu. In the period of the homecoming flow, if travelers come from the Trans Java Toll Road, they can immediately continue their journey via GT Colomadu to the exit of GT Karanganom, exit access to GT Banyudono or exit Ngawen (Klaten).

Meanwhile, for travelers from arterial roads (non-toll roads) that will enter from Solo and Boyolali, motorists can enter through the Banyudono GT access.

However, during the backflow period, motorists can enter the functional route from Ngawen (Klaten) and GT Karanganom access to Banyudono GT or Colomadu GT.

"For mutual safety, all motorists who will go home for Lebaran 2024 are expected to drive in prime condition, obey traffic signs and comply with the 40 km/hour speed limit," he added.

For your information, there are six Lebaran 2024 posts along with the police post and the Transportation Agency have also been prepared for motorists who need information or assistance along the Jogja-Solo Functional Toll Road.
