PT Industri Jamu and Pharmacy Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) handed over assistance to 95 stunting suspects in Bergas District, Semarang Regency.

The handover of aid in the form of cash amounting to Rp285 million on Tuesday, April 2, was symbolically handed over by the Director of PT Jamu and Pharmacy Sido Muncul Tbk Irwan Hidayat online, and at the location of the handover by Wahyu Widayani from Sido Muncul to the Semarang Regent represented by the Secretary of the Health Service Bambang Pujiarto at the Joglo Agrotourism of the Sido Muncul Factory complex, Bergas, Semarang Regency.

Irwan Hidayat, who was present online, in his speech said, Sido Muncul was very lucky because he had many opportunities to do good deeds that were useful.

"This is the fifth time we have provided assistance for stunting children. First in Jakarta, then Semarang, Bali, returned to Jakarta and then now it is being carried out again in Semarang. We hope that stunting sufferers in Indonesia can immediately drop, so that a healthy and stunting-free next generation of the nation is formed," said Irwan.

In Bergas, Semarang Regency, assistance was given to 95 stunting suspects for six months, April-September.

"We hope that this assistance will really bring benefits so that Indonesian children will be healthier and better growing," said Irwan.

Each child receives IDR 500 thousand per month. Our idea is to provide the assistance directly to parents.

"Every month, we send (assistance) and parents (receivers of assistance) every month must report to us. There is progress or not for weight, height and overall growth," explained Irwan.

Irwan added that this assistance is a form of support and alignment of the CSR program from Sido Muncul with the government in order to accelerate the reduction in stunting prevalence rates.

"Sido Muncul will commit to continue this assistance, because the stunting assistance program is very strategic and needed by Indonesian children so that it can grow and develop," he concluded.
