Angkasa Pura I: Kediri Dhoho Airport Ready To Serve Flights

PT Angkasa Pura I said Dhoho Kediri International Airport, which is located in Kediri Regency, East Java, is ready to serve flights. "Dhoho Airport is 100 percent ready to serve flights, and it was proven yesterday that three private jets took off landing here," said General Manager of Angkasa Pura I Kediri International Airport I Nyoman Noer Rohim in Kediri, quoted from Antara, Saturday, March 30. He explained that regular flights are still in the licensing process, including aircraft rotation setups for airlines that have obtained route permits. "For airlines that have obtained route permits, namely Batik Air and Super Air Jet. They are still in the process of regulating the aircraft," he said. Head of the Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) Office of Kediri Regency, Irwan Chandra, said that the construction of toll road access near the airport was also ongoing. He added that before the toll road can be passed, supporting access to the airport, which has been speeded up by the government, has been completed and can be passed when the toll road has not been completed. The road access starts from Nganjuk-Kediri Street, Tulungagung-Kediri Street through Mojo District, Jalan Jawa and Jalan PB Sudirman. "Currently, the Jongbiru Bridge has not yet been completed," said Irwan Chandra. Meanwhile, the Acting Governor of East Java, Adhy Karyono, visited Kediri's Dhoho International Airport, Saturday. He was accompanied by the Regent of Kediri Hanindhito Himawan Pramana. During his visit, Acting Governor Adhy Karyono was also greeted by the Director of PT Surya Dhoho Investama (SDHI) Maksin Arisandi including Angkasa Pura I. Acting Governor Adhy Karyono also said that the readiness of Kediri's Dhoho Airport was 100 percent. "My airport sees everyone's readiness, it's 100 percent. We are trying to operate it as soon as possible. If we wish a homecoming date of 5-6 April 2024, hopefully," he said.

He added that currently the airport permit issue has also been resolved. In addition, infrastructure is also 100 percent. Facilities at that location are also available. Dhoho Kediri Airport is the first airport in Indonesia to be built under a cooperation scheme between the government and business entities (PPP), the construction of which is carried out by PT Gudang Garam through its subsidiary PT Surya Dhoho Investama. The airport has a runway of 3,300 x 60 meters, a commercial apron of 548 x 141 meters, a VIP apron of 221 x 97 meters, four taxiways or aircraft displacement lines that span 306 meters x 32 meters and 438 meters x 32 meters, and a parking area of 37,108 square meters. On the land side, this airport has a passenger terminal covering an area of 18,224 square meters with a capacity of 1.5 million passengers per year. This airport in addition to serving international flights, is also for Hajj and Umrah.
