RI Has A Target Of 1 Million Barrels, PHE Pede Contributes 55 Percent

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) confirmed that it will seek oil lifting in order to pursue the target of 1 million barrels of oil and 12 billion cubic feet of gas by 2030.

PHE President Director Chalid Said Salim said his party is targeting to donate at least 55 percent of the total 1 million barrels of oil by 2030.

"From PHE, we will do our best if in 2030 our portion may be around 50 55 percent of the production targeted at 1 million barrels," said Chalid in a Hearing Meeting (RDP) with Commission VII DPR RI, Wednesday, March 27.

Chalid said, to increase PHR's oil and gas production, his party hopes for contributions from the Rokan Block with the existence of an enhanced oil recovery (EOR).

"Indeed, there are several things that may be significant later, hopefully this implementation can be carried out in Rokan with the EOR for Minas Area A, Area Bitu can provide quite significant production," continued Chalid.

Just so you know, throughout 2023 PHE recorded the realization of oil lifting of 415,000 barrels per day (BOPD).

With this achievement, PHE is still the backbone of national oil production.

"PHE is the backbone of national oil production, the realization is 415,000 BOPD or 68 percent of the total national oil production," said Chalid.

Chalid continued, for gas production, throughout 2023, 2.38 BCFD was recorded or 33 percent of national gas production.

This achievement, he said, could not be separated from a number of drilling activities, massive work (workover) and well service maintenance carried out throughout 2023.
