Welcoming Eid 2024, BTN Prepares IDR 39.44 Trillion In Cash

PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) has prepared cash worth IDR 39.44 trillion to ensure the sufficient need for customer cash funds ahead of and after Eid al-Fitr 2024. The funds are allocated for 19 calendar days from April 1, 2024 to April 19, 2024.

BTN Corporate Secretary Ramon Armando said, in addition to increasing the allocation of cash in the future and after Eid Al-Fitr 2024, BTN also complements BTN Mobile services to meet and facilitate the banking needs of its customers.

The increase in the allocation of money, Ramon continued, is in line with the projected increase in public transactions during Eid al-Fitr 2024. Meanwhile, the increase in cash allocation reached 1.3 times compared to normal daily cash which currently reaches Rp2.07 trillion.

"We continue to strive so that BTN customers can transact comfortably and safely during the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 2024," Ramon said in Jakarta, Wednesday, March 27.

Ramon detailed that the company will allocate as much as 30 percent of the total funds or Rp11.83 trillion for BTN ATM fillings spread throughout Indonesia. Meanwhile, 70 percent of the total funds or Rp27.61 trillion will be budgeted for cash in all BTN outlets. By the end of 2023, BTN has 727 conventional and sharia outlets, as well as 2,115 ATM and CRM machines (Cash Recycling Machine) throughout Indonesia.

Ramon also said, during the long holiday period of the government-determined Eid al-Fitr, BTN will also carry out limited operations for a number of company office networks. Limited operational implementation is carried out to continue to meet customers' needs for banking services.

On the electronic transaction side, Ramon added, customers can enjoy the convenience of taking cash without a card through the BTN Mobile application. A number of other features offered by BTN Mobile include public utility payment transaction services such as electricity, water, telephone, and payment of various taxes, including vehicle taxes and local taxes.

Customers can also use BTN Mobile to pay loan installments, internet bills or subscription TV, as well as purchase credit, plane tickets, regular trains, and high-speed trains.

"The BTN Mobile application has complete services and features connected to the housing ecosystem, so that people can continue to transact and access information related to mortgages and housing during the Eid holiday period," Ramon said.

Not only that, BTN also has a portal www.btnproperti.co.id and www.cheap housebn.co.id which can be accessed by the public in finding new or used housing, as well as applying for a mortgage anywhere and anytime.

"Through these two sites, customers can easily find new and second houses," he concluded.
