KPUPR Repairs 15 Roads In Central Sulawesi Worth IDR 330 Billion, Residents Are Grateful And Happy

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Directorate General of Highways repaired 15 147 kilometers (km) of roads in Central Sulawesi Province (Sulteng).

Repairing this road is carried out with Regional Road Inpres (IJD) worth IDR 330 billion spread across 9 districts in Central Sulawesi.

PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono said the implementation of the IJD refers to Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 1 of 2023 concerning Accelerating Improvement of Regional Road Connectivity.

"The purpose of implementing the IJD is mainly to increase connectivity and increase the availability of regional roads, in order to facilitate the flow of logistics and access to production centers," Basuki said in a written statement, quoted on Wednesday, March 27.

The implementation of the IJD in Central Sulawesi is spread across 9 districts, namely the first in Buol Regency as many as 2 14.5 km long roads with a cost of Rp. 38 billion, namely the Momunu-Kali section with a length of 5.6 km with a cost of Rp. 13.1 billion and the Panilan Jaya-Jati Mulya section with a length of 8.9 km at a cost of Rp. 24.9 billion.

Then, in Toli-toli Regency as many as 2 22 km long roads costing Rp46.6 billion, namely the 14 km Bilo-Lampasio section at a cost of Rp27.5 billion and the 8 km Silondou-Ogosipat section at a cost of Rp19.1 billion.

Furthermore, in North Morowali Regency there is 1 12.6 km long road with a cost of IDR 30.4 billion, namely the Panca Makmur-Bencue section.

Finally, in Morowali Regency there are 2 14 km long roads with a cost of Rp. 36.5 billion, namely the Keurea-Bahomakmur and Jalan Fatufia-Bahomakmur sections with a cost of Rp. 16.5 billion and Jalan Dalam Makarti Jaya Village with a length of 6.8 km at a cost of Rp. 20 billion.
