JAKARTA - PT ACE Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) is expanding the retail business expansion which plans to open 15 outlets targeting Central and East Indonesia in 2024 to meet the market share of home needs and lifestyles.

"We are strengthening services in various regions in Indonesia," said Vice President Sales and Operations ACE Rinekso Widyanto on the sidelines of reopening outlets at Bali Gallery Mall, Kuta, Bali, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, March 26.

According to him, of the 15 outlets, four outlets have been realized, namely in Pejaten, South Jakarta, Banyuwangi, East Java, Garut and Bogor Tourism City.

His party did not rule out the possibility of also expanding its business in the Nusantara Capital (IKN) area to observe the great potential to meet the market in the new area.

Even so, currently the focus of the corporation is in the city around IKN, namely in Balikpapan and Samarinda where several outlets have been built.

To date, he said, the expansion has reached 235 outlets in 69 cities in the country, as many as nine outlets are in Bali.

"To open outlets we consider a number of indicators including market potential, population density and surrounding business growth," he added.

He is optimistic that a healthy investment climate and economic revival after being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic can encourage business expansion.

Innovations are also carried out to encourage economic activity, including by intensifying the concept of application-based online shopping to make it easier for consumers, in addition to the experience of shopping directly at outlets.

He hopes that the business expansion will also support economic growth both nationally and regionally, supported by a relatively smooth political situation after the 2024 General Election.

The election has been passed together and everything is safe. We hope that with this good economy, we are optimistic that this year's business will also be better," he said.
