Rice Cooker Sharing Program Considered Unclear, Commission VII DPR Asks Director General Of Gatrik To Be Removed

JAKARTA - Member of Commission VII DPR RI from the Democratic Party faction, Muhammad Nasir asked the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) to remove the Director General of Electricity (Dirjen Gatrik) Jisman Hutajulu because it was considered irresponsible for the Electric Cooking Equipment (AML) project which was considered a failure.

"Through this forum, the Director General must be replaced because he cannot run budget regulations. You make a budget to play games because this is a state debt. Don't play games. All regulations in our electoral district are a problem. We see it," Nasir said at the Data Collection Meeting (RDP) between the Director General of EBTKE, the Director General of Gatrik and Commission VII DPR RI, Monday, March 25.

Nasir said in the forum that the program to distribute AML riskooker was considered a failure due to the unpreparedness of management from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, especially the Directorate General of Gatrik. The reason is, according to him, the distributor should have been carried out by an authorized official from the Directorate General of Gatrik but channeled through PT Pos Indonesia.

"It's not ready and there's no one. We're not responsible about this budget regulation. We should have been accompanied by the other Director General until this item is in the hands of the community. But today we don't share the AML project, sir. For postal people. I don't understand how the management communication built by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources," Nasir sprayed.

For this reason, Nasir also asked the leadership of Commission VII to write to the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) to conduct an audit of this program. According to Nasir, this program is not targeted and neither party is responsible for distributing AML to the public.

"Who is responsible? Who is the picpro? Who is assigned by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in the field to be with Commission VII to receive goods? So in my opinion there is no fake project. The budget is prepared by the state, the target is there but the administrative regulations prepared by ESDM are fraudulent. The money is spent but the person is not there. I ask for a BPK audit!" said Nasir.

Nasir further said that as the Director General, Jisman should be responsible for the budget that was disbursed for this AML program.

For now, in his statement, Nasir asked the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources to remove Jisman and the director who was responsible for this program and to include the report of this activity to the KPK and BPK.

"Second, ask for the report of this activity to the BPK and the KPK because the person is not there and the money is absorbed and I ask that all in this project be examined by the law because of the Rp300 billion in money. The Director General is not responsible for our difficulties," concluded Nasir.

Just so you know, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources noted that AML's distribution reached 342,621 units and the absorbed budget reached Rp176 billion from the total AML supply ceiling of Rp322 billion.
