The Fed Maintains Interest Rates, JCI Opens Weakening 0.10 Percent

JAKARTA - The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Composite Stock Price Index (IDX) at the opening of trading on Friday, March 22, 2024, weakened by 7.42 points or 0.10 percent to 7,331.334 at 09.08 WIB this morning.

Meanwhile, the JCI opened at the level of 7,338.35 while the highest level of the JCI today is at the level of 7,343.48 and the lowest is at 7,322.53.

The total volume of stock trading on the IDX reached 1.16 billion, with a transaction value of Rp711.87 billion. There were 179 stocks up, 147 shares down, and 244 low.

The LQ45 index weakened 0.17 percent, Japan's Nikkei 225 Index moved up 0.21 percent, Hang Seng Hong Kong fell 1.67 percent, China's Shanghai Composite weakened 0.91 percent, and Singapore's Straits Times fell 0.26 percent.

As for those who entered the Top Gainers ranks, namely PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP) rose 175 or 2.04 percent to Rp8,750, PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi Tbk (CUAN) rose 95 or 1.93 percent to Rp5,025, PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA) rose 100 or 1.78 percent to Rp5,725.

Meanwhile, those who entered the top loss ranks were shares of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) down 30 or 1.76 percent to Rp1,670, shares of PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) down 70 or 1.64 percent to Rp4,190, and shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) down 125 or 1.23 percent to Rp10,000.
