JAKARTA - Anticipating a surge in customer cash needs during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr periods, Bank Mandiri prepared cash of IDR 31.3 trillion.
Bank Mandiri Corporate Secretary Teuku Ali Usman said the amount of cash needs increased by 10.5 percent compared to the previous year's projection.
He added that most of the allocation of cash needs was used to meet Bank Mandiri's ATM filling needs which were predicted to reach IDR 1.7 trillion per day during that period.
"In order to support the distribution of cash to the public, we have also optimized the filling of 12,874 Bank Mandiri ATM/CRM machines connected to the ATM Link network, Joint ATMs, Prima ATMs and Visa/Plus throughout Indonesia from the beginning of this month until the Eid holiday," said Ali Usman and information to the media, Monday, March 18.

Meanwhile, preventive maintenance steps will be taken at 10,235 ATMs and 246,000 EDCs spread throughout Indonesia, especially in strategic locations such as rest areas, airports, stations, terminals, ports, shopping centers, hotels, gas stations and tourist attractions.
Customers can also use Livin' by Mandiri which is able to meet various needs such as balance checks, transfers of up to Rp. 300 million, monthly bill payments & e-commerce, e-money top ups and e-wallets, as well as payments with QRIS.
