Beware Of Running Out! Train Tickets For The Eid Period Have Been Sold For More Than 1.4 Million

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI noted that sales of medium and long-distance train tickets for the Eid al-Fitr 2024 period had sold 46 percent or more than 1.4 million of the total seats provided.

The period for transporting the Lebaran 2024 train was set by KAI, starting from D-10 or March 31 to D+10 or April 21, 2024.

KAI Vice President Public Relations Joni Martinus said that KAI provided 3,263,847 seats for the Eid 2024 period.

The medium or long-distance train tickets sold were 1,493,982 or 46 percent of the total seats provided were 3,263,847, Joni said in an official statement, Sunday, March 17.

Joni said the number of train tickets sold is still possible to increase considering ticket sales are still being made.

"The number of tickets sold will continue to increase because sales are still ongoing," he said.

Based on KAI data monitoring as of today, the highest ticket sales are on April 14, 2024 or D+3, namely 100,487 tickets and April 13 or D+2 as many as 99,308 tickets.
