President Jokowi Officially Tukin ASN Ministry Of PUPR, Basuki Hadimuljono Gets The Most Jumbo

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) officially raised the performance allowance (tukin) for ASN within the scope of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR). The decision is considered in accordance with the achievements of the bureaucratic implementation results.

The decision is contained in Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 35 of 2024 concerning Employee Performance Allowances within the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing which Jokowi officially signed on March 13, 2024.

"In accordance with the achievements of the implementation of bureaucratic reform, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing has met the criteria for adjusting performance allowances," reads the consideration of the Presidential Decree, quoted on Friday, February 15.

Based on the attachment to the Presidential Regulation, tukin is given to employees with a 1-17 position class, which is the lowest value of IDR 2,575,000 to a maximum of IDR 41,550,000.

Especially for the Minister of PUPR, which is currently held by Basuki Hadimuljono, Tukin is given 150 percent of the highest tukin value in the agency.

"The Minister of Public Works and Public Housing who heads and leads the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing is given a performance allowance of 150 percent of the highest performance allowance within the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing," reads the Presidential Regulation Article 5.

Thus, Minister Basuki will get the highest tukin at the Ministry of PUPR reaching IDR 62,325,000 per month. This amount is a calculation of the highest number of tukin at the Ministry of PUPR of IDR 41,550,000 x 150 percent.

"Employees within the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing who receive performance allowances are obliged to maintain and continue to improve the implementation of bureaucratic reform in accordance with the provisions of the legislation," reads the Presidential Regulation Article 10.
