Government Absorbs IDR 24 Trillion From Auction Of Seven Government Securities

JAKARTA - The government absorbed IDR 24 trillion from the auction of seven series of Government Securities (SUN) on March 13, 2024.

In an official statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Thursday, March 14, the Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management (DJPPR) of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) revealed that the nominal incoming bids reached Rp58.93 trillion.

The series being auctioned includes SPN03240613 (new issuance), SPN12250314 (new issuance), FR0101 (re-opening), FR0100 (re-opening), FR0098 (re-opening), FR0097 (re-opening), and FR0102 (re-opening). The auction is conducted through the Bank Indonesia (BI) auction system.

The largest absorption came from the FR0100 series with a nominal win of Rp9.1 trillion. The total incoming offer for the series is Rp19.43 trillion with a weighted average yield (yield) won by 6.61996 percent.

The next absorption was the FR0101 series which was won at IDR 4.85 trillion from an incoming offer of IDR 18.86 trillion. The weighted average yield won by the series was 6.49000 percent.

Furthermore, from the FR0102 series, Rp3.4 trillion was won from an incoming offer of Rp6.01 trillion, with a weighted average yield of 6.93974 percent.

From the FR0098 series, the government absorbed IDR 3.1 trillion from an incoming offer of IDR 5.59 trillion. The weighted average yield won was 6.79994 percent.

The next absorption is from the FR0097 series, where the government won a nominal value of IDR 2 trillion. The incoming offer for the series is IDR 2.56 trillion with a weighted average yield won at 6.86660 percent.

Then, from the SPN12250314 series, IDR 1.4 trillion was absorbed from an incoming offer of IDR 4.19 trillion. The weighted average yield that was won was 6.45857 percent.

Finally, the government absorbed Rp150 billion in funds from the SPN03240613 series. The amount of incoming bids for the series was Rp2.27 trillion, with a weighted average yield of 6.37600 percent won.
