Minister Basuki Lantik Commissioner And Deputy Commissioner Of BP Tapera 2024-2029

JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono inaugurated the Commissioner for the People's Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) for the period 2024-2029.

The inauguration ceremony took place at the Auditorium of the Ministry of PUPR, Jakarta, Wednesday, March 13.

During the inauguration procession, Basuki, who is the Chair of the Tapera Committee, was accompanied by a member of the Tapera Committee consisting of the Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Ida Fauziyah and Member of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Friderica Widyasari Dewi.

The inauguration is a follow-up to Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia (Keppres) Number 14 of 2024 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners of the People's Housing Savings Management Agency signed by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on February 12, 2024.

Previously, the Chairman of the Tapera Committee had submitted a letter of proposal to President Jokowi regarding the honorable dismissal of the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner (KDK) of BP Tapera and the appointment of the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner for the period 2024-2029 based on the results of open selection.

Heru Pudyo Nugroho was elected as Commissioner for the period 2024-2029. Then, the Deputy Commissioner for the Distribution of Tapera Funds was occupied by Sugiyarto, the Deputy Commissioner for the Development of Tapera Funds, namely Doddy Bursman, Deputy for the Utilization of Tapera Funds, namely Sid Herdi Kusuma and Deputy Commissioner for Law and Administration, namely Wilson Lie Simatupang.

The names have a period of assignment for the period 2024-2029, starting February 13, 2024.

"Today, I am the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing as Chair of the Tapera Committee, on behalf of the state and the government hereby officially inaugurate you in a new position at BP Tapera. I believe you will carry out your duties as well as possible, in accordance with the responsibilities given," said Basuki.

On the same occasion, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani expressed her gratitude to the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of BP Tapera for his 2019-2024 term of office for his cooperation.

Bearing in mind, they were also involved in efforts to foster and channel housing financing for low-income people (MBR) at the beginning of the Tapera formation period. He also congratulated the inauguration of the new Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner.

"I hope all of you can carry out the mandate and trust given with full responsibility. With high dedication and full integrity and professionalism that is not harmed by anything," he said.
