Basuki Leaks There Are Other Ministers Moving To IKN July 2024, Who?

JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono said there were other ministers who would also move with him to the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN) in July 2024.

Basuki said the official in question was the Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi.

"This is a leak, Mr. Minister of Transportation (Budi Karya Sumadi) because he also has to monitor the airport (development) which must be completed," said Basuki at the PUPR Ministry office, Jakarta, Saturday, March 9.

He admitted that the Minister of Transportation Budi had contacted him regarding the plan to move to IKN. Because, Budi asked for his house in IKN to be resolved immediately.

"So, he has called me to ask for his house to be prepared so that it becomes," he said.

When asked further about which other officials at the ministry will join in moving with him, Basuki did not know. "I don't know yet. But, those who have called me, Mr. Minister of Transportation. God willing (neighborhood)," he said.

The Ministry of PUPR through the Implementation Task Force for the Implementation of Infrastructure Development for the Capital Archipelago (IKN) said that PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono would be the first minister to move to IKN this year.

"Yes, please. The minister said I was the first," said Head of the IKN Infrastructure Development Task Force Danis Sumadilaga at the PUPR Ministry office, Jakarta, Friday, February 2.

It is known, as of January 25, 2024, the progress of the construction of 36 units of ministerial housing has reached around 72 percent.

"Currently, 34 housing units are in the process of parallel structure work with MEP work and some have entered architectural work. Two housing units have entered the interior and landscape work stages," he added.
