The Land Bank Agency Guarantees The Certainty Of Rights For Investors

JAKARTA - The presence of the Land Bank Agency will guarantee the certainty of land rights.

"The main goal of the Land Bank Agency is to ensure more certainty of land rights for investors and also the community, of course," said Head of the Land Bank Agency Parman Natamatmadja quoting Antara.

He said one of the obstacles experienced by investors today is the certainty of land rights.

"Why? If investors want to buy 1,000 hectares of land, the most difficult thing is land because they have to carry out exemptions and others, the price is fluctuating, there are also many land brokers," he said.

Parman continued from the community side, the Land Bank Agency provided certainty of land rights in the form of legal certainty and legality over the land they worked on to obtain certificates.

Legal certainty and legality of the land, he continued, were given through the agrarian reform program. Through agrarian reform, the public will be given a certificate of use rights above the management rights (HPL) of the Land Bank Agency for 10 years.

"If it is used properly during that period, then a certificate of ownership (SHM) will be given," said Parman.

Currently, the Land Bank Agency has prepared 1,873 hectares of land for agrarian reform in North Penajam Paser (PPU), 1,550 hectares in Poso, and 203 hectares in Cianjur.

Not only land for agrarian reform, but the Land Bank Agency has also prepared land for the construction of IKN VVIP Airport covering an area of 347 hectares and the IKN Toll Road Section 5B covering an area of 150 hectares.

Parman also explained about the land acquisition of the Land Bank Agency from the land determined by the government and land from other parties.

"Currently, the lands obtained by the Land Bank Agency still come from the land determined by the government. The sources can be from land that is used for rights, abandoned areas and lands, the release of forest areas, land that arises, land from reclamation, former mining land, land that is affected by the policy of changing spatial planning, or land that does not have control above it," he said.

The Land Bank Agency is a special agency (sui generis) formed by the government to ensure land availability in the context of a just economy, both for the public interest, social interests, national development interests, economic equity, land consolidation and also agrarian reform.

More than that, the Land Bank Agency also guarantees certainty of land rights for the community and the private sector.
