KCIC Collaboration With West Java Transportation Agency Provides Electric Buses At Tegalluar Station

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) in collaboration with the West Java Transportation Agency (Dishub Jabar) provides integrated transportation services that are environmentally friendly or green intermodal in the fast train environment.

The collaboration is in the form of a plan to provide integration of environmentally friendly modes, in this case buy the servic (BTS) and a rapid transit bus (BRT) for the Bandung Raya Electric Bus in the Tegalluar Station area, Bandung Regency.

KCIC Corporate Communication Manager Emir Monti said the provision of environmentally friendly mode integration was in line with KCIC's commitment to support the use of green energy and environmentally friendly transportation.

Through a collaboration built with the West Java Transportation Agency, KCIC seeks to become a pioneer of the intermodal green station in Indonesia.

"We are committed to becoming pioneers in environmentally friendly transportation including pioneer green station intermoda. Therefore, we support and are very open to various collaborations and innovations in terms of the use of green energy or environmentally friendly transportation," Emir said, quoted from Antara.

To realize the plan, an electric bus has been tested at Tegalluar Station on Wednesday, February 28. The trial was carried out to measure the reliability of four electric buses which will later be used as green intermodals at Tegalluar Station.

In addition, the duration of travel and monitoring of the traffic situation is also being measured on the Bandung Raya Electric Bus BRT route from Tegalluar Station to community activity centers.

Emir said the BRT program for electric buses was one of the follow-up programs after the implementation of BTS Trans Metro Pansun and Route 2D (IKEA-Padalarang-Alun-alun Bandung Station) at Padalarang Station.

KCIC emphasizes that the provision of various advanced modes aims to make it easier for passengers to and from Fast Train Station

"We thank the UPTD Region 2 of the West Java Transportation Service for its support for KCIC's commitment to implementing green intermodals. Hopefully, the presence of this green intermodal will receive good responses and support from all parties," he also said.
