JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has confirmed that as many as 36 landed houses as ministers will be completed in July.
Head of the IKN Development Task Force (Kasatgas) of the Ministry of PUPR Danis H Sumadilaga said that currently the progress of the landed house has reached more than 70 percent.
"The progress is already above 70 percent, almost 80 percent. Lastly, 74 percent if I'm not mistaken," Danis told reporters in Jakarta, Monday, February 26.
Danis said that currently his party has completed two (2) landed houses of ministerial positions as a design model for a ministerial house or mock-up that has been fully completed.
The remaining 34 minister's houses will certainly be completed in July 2024. So, said Danis, as many as 36 ministerial houses are optimistic that they can start operating in mid-2024.
In addition, Danis said, the average project progress at IKN per week can reach 1-2 percent.
Thus, he is optimistic that later the construction of the landed house of ministerial office can begin to be carried out by commissioning in June 2024 and is ready to be occupied by ministers who want to move to IKN in July.
"Yesterday we accelerated because it was to provide an overview. That's what the two units have completed. Later, everything in July (2024) has been completed by 36 (rejected houses of ministerial positions)," he added.
Previously reported, PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono will be the first minister to move to IKN this year.
"Yes, please. The minister said I was the first," said Head of the IKN Infrastructure Development Task Force Danis Sumadilaga at the PUPR Ministry office, Jakarta, Friday, February 2.
Thus, the work on IKN for stage 1 is still being accelerated to this day.
