Cooperating With Smartfren For Business, AXA Insurance Supports Sustainable MSME Growth

JAKARTA - PT AXA Insurance Indonesia (AXA Insurance) is collaborating with PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (Smartfren), to advance the MSME business in Indonesia by providing protection for its business. This collaboration is a follow-up to the launch of Coin-net by Smartfren in May 2023.

Coin.Net from Smartfren provides hardware along with a private Access Point Wi-Fi, so that customers can enjoy temporary internet access easily, simply with coins/metal coins to access global information, develop customer bases and make transactions online.

Laurent Bourson, President Director of AXA Insurance, emphasized that AXA Insurance is here to support the Indonesian people by providing comprehensive protection solutions with optimal benefits, especially for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia.

"Smartfren Coin-Net is the right solution as a means for MSMEs to grow and AXA Insurance is proud to be part of this journey, especially with our new product SmartBusiness which was specifically developed to help small entrepreneurs develop their businesses calmly," he explained, in a written statement, Tuesday, February 20.

AXA Insurance assesses that this collaboration is the right step, through a series of Smart Series products that have been present to provide a variety of general insurance protections for every aspect of life. Including for MSME/retail businesses to protect their businesses from unexpected risks and help manage risks to achieve sustainable growth.

Tony Wijaya, Chief Enterprise Business Officer of Smartfren Business, explained that the Smartfren for Business and AXA Insurance partnership is a form of his party's commitment to supporting the development of SMEs in the country.

"The best internet-coin from Smartfren allows SME players to increase the convenience and satisfaction of customers who come to the store, as well as get additional benefits from business risk protection options. These are two important aspects in making these businesses superior and more developed," he said.

With this collaboration, AXA Insurance together with Smartfren for Business as business partners will prepare and distribute Coin-Net to customers and AXA Insurance will provide protection for these assets for final consumers.

AXA Insurance offers a Moveable All Risk Insurance service that provides protection against Coin-Net devices from total damage and theft. This Moveable All Risk Insurance is combined with SmartBusiness Insurance which provides compensation to business owners when business problems occur caused by various events, including floods, fires, and theft.

In addition, the Moveable All risk Insurance can be combined with Fleks Insurance, namely protection of places of business against the risk of fire, lightning, explosions, the fall of airplanes, and smoke.
