Erick Thohir Will Report 2 Troubled Dapens To The AGO This Week

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir said he would report two problematic SOE pension funds to the Attorney General's Office this week.

"Dapan rencana saya lagi akan minta waktu untuk ketemu Pak Jaksa Agung ada dua laporan lagi kasus korupsi di dapen, mudah-mudahan minggu ini lah kita akan laporan," katanya ditemui di Pondok Indah Mall, Jakarta Selatan, Selasa, 13 Februari.

Erick said that the reporting of these two problematic areas was delayed because they had to wait for the results of the audit from the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP).

"This is my promise at that time, yesterday it was just yesterday's audit just came out. Yes, instead of accusing us, now we have two that we will report," he said.

Previously, the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) revealed that it had completed the audit process of seven problematic pension funds (dappen). Four of them are said to be still saved, while the rest are indicated to be fraud.

The audit of the problem dapen was asked directly by the Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir, as an effort to clean up SOEs.

Deputy for BPKP Investigation, Agustina Arumsari said that of the seven BUMN dapen audited by BPKP, three of them were indicated corruption, and four of them could still be saved.

"The others are relatively well-reparable. We can still fix this if the legal action is what is the last resort," Agustina said at a press conference in Jakarta, Thursday, February 1.
