Winning PKPU Lawsuit Budi Said, Lawyer: Evidence Of Healthy Antam Finance

JAKARTA - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk or Antam managed to win a lawsuit on the Suspension of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU) filed by crazy rich from Surabaya, Budi Said.

As is known, the PKPU application with case number 387/Pdt.Sus-PKPU/2023/PN.Niaga.Jkt.Pst was submitted by Budi Said against PT Aneka Tambang on November 30, 2023 (PKPU ANTAM Application).

Attorney Antam Fernandes Raja Saor said the Central Jakarta District Court (PN Pusat) had granted the petitioner's request to revoke the request for postponement of debt payment obligations to the respondent and ordered the central Jakarta district court clerk to record the revocation of the case.

"With the reading of the determination, the Aquo case between Antam and Budi Said has been completed," he said at the GIOI Menteng Restaurant, Jakarta, Wednesday, February 7.

Fernandes said that the revocation of the PKPU application also emphasized Antam's position as a healthy company.

"The determination of the revocation of the PKPU application also shows and reflects that Antam's financial condition is very healthy and stable," he said.

Furthermore, Fernandes said that with this certainty, Antam's management could carry out job operations independently without any interference from other parties.

"We believe Antam's financial growth will improve with increasing profits," he concluded.

Regarding the determination of the revocation of Budi Said's PKPU application, Fernandes said it had nothing to do with the current political activities. Including but not limited to the 2024 General Election.

"So we ask that the determination of the revocation of Antam's PKPU Application is not related to any political activities and Antam respects the decision taken by the Supreme Court," he said.
