The Ministry Of Industry Has Issued 8,949 TKDN Certificates Until The End Of January 2024

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry issued 8,949 certificates of the Small Industry Domestic Component Level (TKDN-IK) with 11,940 products as of January 29, 2024, to maximize the implementation of the policy for Increasing the Use of Domestic Products (P3DN).

"We hope that the P3DN policy can suppress dependence on imported products, as well as raise the spirit of community nationalism to love and be proud to use domestically made products, especially products made by IKM," said the Director General of Small, Medium, and Multifarious Industries (IKMA) of the Ministry of Industry Reni Yanita in her official statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Saturday, February 3.

The distribution of the most certificate is in Banten Province, which is 1,466 certificates with 1,788 products. The province with the most TKDN IK certificates is issued, namely the Special Region of Yogyakarta with 925 certificates for 1,339 products.

Meanwhile, on the island of Sumatra, the distribution of certificate is most in North Sumatra with 162 certificates for 170 products.

Secretary of the Directorate General of IKMA Riefky Yuswandi said that not all requests for TKDN certification by industry were received by the Ministry of Industry.

He explained that 11,261 applications were rejected and 485 other applications were in process.

According to him, the causes of applications for certificates to be rejected can vary, including because companies do not include small industries, products are not in accordance with the Standard Classification of Indonesian Business Fields (KBLI) in the business sector recorded at NIB, or because the applicant does not upload evidence of purchasing raw materials or main components from within the country.

"Another reason for the rejection is the application for medical devices and pharmaceutical products because they do not upload a distribution permit (NIE) certificate," said Riefky.

Not only facilitating certificate issuance, said Riefky, the Directorate General of IKMA also periodically supervises the consistency of company production activities that have obtained certificates and obtained TKDN-IK values in accordance with these certificates.

"Based on the results of the supervision of the Directorate General of IKMA throughout last year, there were 271 TKDN-IK certificates that were revoked because they found inconsistencies in the production activities and the discrepancies in the documents submitted," said Riefky.
