JAKARTA - Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani thanked the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono when inaugurating the state flat (Rusunara) for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) in Jayapura, Papua.

"I would like to express my gratitude to the Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono through the Secretary General (Zainal Fatah) and the Director General of Housing (Iwan Suprijanto) for their good collaboration, especially between the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of PUPR in the construction of residential facilities for employees of the Ministry of Finance," Sri Mulyani said in a written statement, Thursday, February 1.

Sri Mulyani assessed that this flat symbolizes cooperation between ministries and local governments.

According to him, this collaboration is important as the foundation for building Indonesia in the future.

"One of the collaborations that we are collaborating on is in building housing for employees/ASN of the Ministry of Finance throughout Indonesia," he said.

He hopes that the Rusunara Kemenkeu can meet residential needs for employees who work in Jayapura, Papua, so that they can improve performance.

"Before there was this flat, I heard there was a shortage of 50 housing for Ministry of Finance employees in Papua. With this flat, I hope it can fill the shortage and meet the needs," he said.

The Ministry of Finance's flats (rusun) were built using the Multi Years Contract (MYC) mechanism for the 2022-2023 Fiscal Year with a 36/3 floor Building Type Design.

This flat has a capacity of 44 units that can accommodate 176 people, equipped with 44 furniture sets consisting of main beds, flat beds, 2 door cabinets, 1 door cupboard, 2 seaters sofa, dining table, guest table, chairs and infrastructure, Facilities and Utilities (PSU) in the form of hard/paving blocks, garden lights and drainage.

The financing for the construction of the Kemenkeu Rusunara is a collaboration of the Ministry of PUPR's budget of IDR 28.8 billion and the Ministry of Finance's budget of IDR 12.5 billion.
