JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) as the operator of the HIGH Speed Train denied that the mode of transportation was empty of passengers. KCIC emphasized that passenger occupancy was stable at 50 percent.

General Manager of KCIC Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa said that people's interest in using the Jakarta-Bandung route Fast Train is very positive.

"We can say that so far the occupancy of the HIGH Speed Train is still stable above 50 percent and the public's interest in using thections train is very positive," Eva told reporters, Wednesday, January 31.

Dynamic Pricing is a price determination that is carried out depending on the demand of passengers. The implementation of dynamic pricing itself has been carried out in stages on loan train services since December 2023, where initially the rates were differentiated between weekdays and weekends.

Currently, the new scheme for implementing dynamic pricing is more flexible, where the factors become based on peak hour, or off peak hour, holiday moments (high season) or non-holiday (low season), or working days or weekends.

Eva also said that the implementation of this dynamic pricing scheme allows passengers to getASH tickets at a more efficient price when traveling at a certain time.

"With the new dynamic pricing scheme, ticket prices are also more diverse. Rating variations ranging from Rp. 150,000, Rp. 175.000, Rp. 200,000, Rp. 225.000, to Rp. 250,000 for the economic premium class depending on the departure time.
