IDX Records Capai Share Transaction Value Of IDR 11.41 Trillion

JAKARTA Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) announced that stock trading data during the period from 22 to 26 January 2024 were closed varying. Meanwhile, the highest increase in a week occurred in the average daily transaction value of 6.84 percent to Rp11.41 trillion from Rp10.68 trillion a week ago. Meanwhile, market capitalization this week experienced a decline, which was 0.65 percent from Rp11,420.46 trillion in the previous week to Rp11,345.77 trillion at the close of this week. Then, the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) this week experienced a decline of 1.25 percent, closed at 7,137,088 from 7,227,402 at the close of last week. Furthermore, the average daily transaction frequency of shares also decreased by 8.73 percent to 1,127,246 transactions from 1,235,025 transactions a week ago.

In addition, the average volume of daily transactions of shares decreased by 14.75 percent over the week, to 15.56 billion shares from 18.25 billion shares a week ago. Meanwhile, foreign investors on Friday recorded a net selling value of IDR 1.05 trillion and throughout 2024 foreign investors have recorded a net purchase value of IDR 5.78 trillion.
