Sido Muncul Gives Free Operational Assistance For 60 Cleft Lip Patients In Belu NTT

JAKARTA - PT Industri Jamu Dan Pharmacy Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) through its superior product Kuku Bima Health Supplement again held a Lip Cleft and Langit-Langit Social Service Operation activity for 60 patients in Belu Regency, NTT and Around Marianum Halilulik Katholic Hospital on January 24-27, 2024.

In collaboration with the Semarang Bojong Rotary Club, Sido Muncul provided assistance worth IDR 533 million, symbolically handed over by the Director of PT Industri Jamu and Pharmacy Sido Muncul Tbk Irwan Hidayat to Lili Santoso, as President of the Semarang Rotary Club Bojong.

Director of Sido Muncul, Irwan Hidayat, said that this assistance was intended to ease the burden on parents whose children experienced lip-climbing.

"We can feel that children who suffer from cleft lip have difficulty eating and are not confident in their appearance. Therefore, today we again provide free lipbing surgery assistance for 60 patients in the Belu area, NTT," said Irwan Hidayat.

This assistance provided is part of Sido Muncul's efforts to contribute to health problems in Indonesia.

"We hope that this lip-capped operation social service can inspire various parties to participate in organizing the same activity, because the number of lip-capped sufferers in Indonesia is still high. The more people who hold it, hopefully more people can be treated," continued Irwan.

Free lip-cleft operating assistance has been carried out by Sido Muncul since 2018, and was first carried out in Kupang. Assistance has been carried out in various parts of Indonesia. The total number of patients who have been operated to date is 514 patients.
